Day 1: 10th February 2026 – Arrival, Freshen Up & Briefing
Arrival:
Land in Guwahati and transfer to Kaziranga via Innova (4 persons per vehicle). (~5-hour drive)
Check-in:
Iora – The Retreat, Kaziranga.
Afternoon:
Freshen up and relax.
Evening:
Meet & Greet session with Yogesh Bhatia – A detailed briefing on Kaziranga’s ecosystem, wildlife behaviour, and photography techniques for the trip.
Overnight:
Stay at Iora – The Retreat.
Day 2: 11th February 2026 – Central & Western Zone Safaris
Morning Safari:
Explore the Central Zone (Kohora) for tigers, elephants, rhinos, and swamp deer.
Lunch:
At the resort.
Afternoon Safari:
Head to the Western Zone (Bagori) – famous for its high rhino density and stunning landscapes.
Evening
Wildlife discussions & photography review session with Yogesh Bhatia.
Day 3: 12th February 2026 – Eastern & Burapahar Zone Safaris
Morning Safari
Visit the Eastern Zone (Agaratoli), known for its birdlife, riverine landscapes, and predator-prey interactions.
Lunch:
At the resort.
Afternoon Safari:
Explore the Burapahar Zone, a dense forest area home to hoolock gibbons and elephants.
Evening
Informal Q&A session with Yogesh Bhatia.
Day 4: 13th February 2026 – Revisit Central & Western Zones
Morning Safari
A second visit to the Central Zone to capture different lighting and increased animal activity.
Lunch:
At the resort.
Afternoon Safari:
A final safari in the Western Zone for golden-hour photography and close wildlife encounters.
Evening
Leisure time at the resort.
Day 5: 14th February 2026 – Departure
Morning
Check-out from Iora – The Retreat.
Transfer
Depart early via Innova for Guwahati Airport or onward travel.
