Day 1
We request all outstation participants to arrive in Guwahati by 2 pm on day 1. Upon arrival at Kaziranga, they will be sent to the respective resort for relaxation. The dinner is served early so that participants can take a rest and prepare themselves for Day 2.
Day 2
The tour involves visiting each of Kaziranga’s three major zones. Day 1 will be focused on a visit to the West Range, where you will get ample photographic opportunities for capturing the beauty of the wild at every corner of the forest. After the safari, it is time to relax in the afternoon at the lodge. We will serve you a delectable Assamese lunch. We will organize an afternoon jeep safari, followed by an evening group discussion about the day’s activities.
Day 3
A morning safari to the central zone is arranged; this one dispenses unlimited opportunities to snap the beauty of majestic rhinos, wild buffaloes, and gigantic elephants. After returning to the lodge in the afternoon, you may relax for some time and energize yourself for joining the exciting evening jeep safari that ends with some amazing captures and a final return to the resort to participate in a digital image processing workshop where tourists can enrich and modify images captured during the day.
Day 4
The day starts with the exploration of the Burhapar range, widely renowned for frequent visits by gibbons. Although revered for the abundance of the primates, the place is ideal for sighting many other animals such as barking deer, hairy-bellied squirrels, Himalayan orange-bellied squirrels, Malayan giant squirrels, sambars, wild boars, etc. Visitors also love to capture pythons, monitor lizards, geckos, cobras, snakes, etc.
After the expedition, there will be a lunch break, beyond which the tour will continue in the forest for more excitement-filled explorations. All participants should return to Kaziranga by dusk for relaxation at the resort, followed by an early dinner and rest.
Day 5
On the last day of the tour, tourists will check out after having breakfast; they will be safely taken to the airport.
