Embark on a captivating wildlife photography expedition in Manas National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its diverse landscapes, Bengal tigers, wild elephants, one-horned rhinos, and the rare golden langur. Day 1: 14th February 2026 – Transfer & Orientation
Morning:
Check out from Iora – The Retreat, Kaziranga.
Depart for Manas National Park in an Innova (4 persons per vehicle) (~6-hour drive).
Afternoon:
Arrive at Bansbari Lodge / Musa Jungle Retreat and check-in.
Freshen up and relax.
Evening:
Meet & Greet with Yogesh Bhatia – Briefing on Manas’ unique ecosystem, wildlife photography techniques, and safari expectations.
Overnight:
Stay at the lodge.
Day 2: 15th February 2026 – Bansbari & Mathanguri Zone Safaris
Morning Safari:
Explore the Bansbari Zone, known for its open grasslands and dense forest patches, ideal for spotting wild elephants, Bengal tigers, and rhinos.
Lunch
Return to the lodge.
Afternoon Safari:
Venture into the Mathanguri Zone, located along the Manas River, a prime location for golden-hour photography.
Evening:
Informal photography discussion and technique-sharing session with Yogesh Bhatia.
Overnight:
Stay at the lodge.
Day 3: 16th February 2026 – Extended Game Drive & Buffer Zone Exploration
Morning Safari:
Panbari Range Safari, a less-explored section known for golden langurs, gaur, and unique bird species.
Lunch:
Return to the lodge.
Afternoon Safari:
A final safari in Bansbari or Mathanguri, focusing on landscapes and wildlife action in the best light.
Evening:
Relax and review the day’s photography with fellow participants.
Overnight:
Stay at the lodge.
Day 4: 17th February 2026 – Departure
Morning:
Check out from the lodge.
Depart early via Innova for Guwahati Airport or onward travel.
