Kanha National Park, which is located in the beautiful Maikal Hills of the Satpuras in the state of Madhya Pradesh, is a photographer’s delight. Recognized as one of the largest national parks in India, it spans across two districts—Mandla and Balaghat—covering an area of over 940 square kilometers. It is also renowned for being one of the most well-managed and maintained wildlife national parks in the country.
We have special tours planned and designed for wildlife and nature photographers that help them in experiencing an amazing adventure while capturing a wonderful picture. Yogesh Bhatia, a professional wildlife photographer will guide you through the safari to understand varied techniques and systems of photographing wildlife. You will also learn about animal behaviors and the right way to approach different animals to capture the best perspective images.
Day 1
You will reach Nagpur Railway Station/Nagpur Airport by 8 in the morning; thereafter, you will be driven to Kanha National Park. Along the way, you will get a break for having breakfast and using the washroom. You will reach the resort in Kanha by lunchtime.
We will organize a brief orientation program, followed by lunch and a brief relaxation break, before you embark on your first jungle safari. By evening, you will return to the resort. It is time to freshen up, relish a delicious dinner amidst fascinating discussion on safari, and have an overnight stay in a resort.
Day 2 and Day 3
After serving tea and coffee, the morning jungle safari will commence. During the journey, participants will have breakfast, and by afternoon, all will return back to the resort and enjoy a wholesome lunch. Relax and unwind. An overnight stay in a resort followed by dinner and discussion on safari.
Day 4
It is the last day of the jungle safari (6th safari); on this day, participants shall leave the resort for a safari in the morning carrying a packed breakfast. By the afternoon, the tour will come to an end. Enjoy the happy memories! Turn back to the resort for a delicious lunch; thereafter, the check-out process begins.

The most ideal time to visit Kanha National Park is between the months of October and June. This period offers the fun of witnessing the best of wildlife experiences. Other ideal seasons are as follows:
Winter (October–February): This season is ideal for wildlife spotting and birdwatching! Owing to the pleasant weather, visitors can enjoy the experience of witnessing animals at their active best mode.
Summer (March–June): If you are looking forward to witnessing the best of tiger sightings, visit Kanha National Park during summer. This is the time when animals gather around water sources.
Monsoon (July–September): This time period is not suggested for wildlife fanatics who wish to spot animals, as the park remains closed due to heavy rainfall.
