Roar Of The Royals

About Ranthambore

Ranthambore Tiger Reserve is one of India’s most iconic and visually striking wildlife destinations. Located at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya hill ranges in Rajasthan, Ranthambore is globally renowned for its royal Bengal tigers, dramatic landscapes, and rich natural history.

Unlike dense green forests, Ranthambore offers a unique dry deciduous ecosystem with open grasslands, rocky outcrops, ancient banyan trees, and picturesque lakes. This open terrain provides excellent visibility, making it one of the best parks in India for observing and photographing tigers in natural behaviour.

A defining feature of Ranthambore is the historic Ranthambore Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which rises dramatically within the forest. The fort, along with old temples, ruins, and stepwells scattered across the reserve, adds a rare blend of wildlife, history, and storytelling opportunities for photographers.
